CNN host Chris Cuomo caught a helicopter from the Hamptons back to New York City \u2014 just hours after his brother, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, was exposed as a serial sexual harasser in a damning official report.<\/p>\n

A source spotted Chris alone at the East Hampton airport around 6 p.m. Tuesday \u2014 and said the CNN anchor was scrolling through news<\/a> about his older brother as he waited for his ride.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw the article from New York Post on his phone when I walked by,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

Photos showed the 50-year-old \u201cCuomo Prime Time\u201d host wearing camouflage shorts and a black T-shirt as he boarded his flight, which, according to the source, was a private Blade helicopter.<\/p>\n

He later app<\/a>eared on his cable show, where he ignored his brother\u2019s growing scandal \u2014 the biggest news of the day from coast to coast \u2014 focusing instead on the Olympics and the COVID-19 pandemic. He has not publicly commented on the probe into his brother.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, more ties to the embattled governor and CNN emerged on Wednesday. Allison Gollust, the network\u2019s current executive vice president and chief marketing officer, was appointed Andrew Cuomo\u2019s communications director in 2012 \u2014 but left four months later for CNN, Fox News reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

The scathing report, released by state Attorney General<\/a> Letitia James\u2019 office, named Chris Cuomo as one of several outside advisors who were provided confidential and privileged information by the Executive Chamber as the governor tried to respond to a slew of sexual harassment allegations earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Independent investigators found that Chris sent an\u00a0email to the other advisors\u00a0with a proposed statement he appeared to have drafted or edited on his brother\u2019s behalf in response to sexual harassment allegations from ex-aide Charlotte Bennett.<\/p>\n

It was revealed in May that Chris had advised the governor on how to deal with the accusations, landing both Cuomo brothers in hot water and prompting CNN to issue an apology.<\/p>\n

The TV-journalist also admitted that advising his brother\u00a0was a mistake and apologized\u00a0for putting his colleagues \u201cin a bad spot.\u201d<\/p>\n

He\u2019s previously told viewers that he \u201cobviously\u201d would not be covering the allegations against his brother because it is a conflict of interest \u2014 though some have noted that no such issue\u00a0seemed to exist when things were going well for Andrew Cuomo.<\/p>\n

The governor, 63, made\u00a0regular appearances on<\/a>\u00a0his brother\u2019s 9 p.m. show at the height of the coronavirus pandemic,\u00a0engaging in often-cringey banter\u00a0that initially helped boost the ratings for the program.\u00a0The two would joke around during the segments, including about the governor\u2019s relationship status.<\/p>\n

CNN\u00a0in February\u00a0reinstated a ban\u00a0on Chris covering his sibling after an\u00a0exclusive Post report\u00a0found his administration covered up thousands of nursing home COVID-19 deaths, a scandal the anchor also failed to cover.<\/p>\n

Gollust did not respond to a request for comment from Fox.<\/p>\n
