Because I had never used a Bo staff in my life,\u201d Brec Bassinger, 22, told The Post, referring to Stargirl\u2019s signature tool and weapon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut then coming into Season 2, I was so much more confident with it. Now people, make fun of me on set because my staff is like my comfort blanket. Unbeknownst to Courtney or her mom Barbara (Amy Smart), her new stepfather Pat (Luke Wilson) used to be a superhero sidekick and a member of the Justice Society of America (often referred to as the JSA). Season 1 saw Courtney discover her Cosmic Staff (\u201cit\u2019s like Thor\u2019s hammer,\u201d said Bassinger), assume the alter-ego of \u201cStargirl\u201d aided by Pat, and become the leader of the second incarnation of the JSA.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I first met [Luke Wilson] I was so intimidated by him, because \u2018Legally Blonde\u2019 was one of my favorite movies growing up,\u201d Bassinger said. \u201cBut within the first week, that was gone, because he\u2019s so humble and such a giving actor. He feeds on the darkness of humanity and finds people\u2019s insecurities. Even the fight scenes with him aren\u2019t average fight scenes. I was looking at colleges when I got the audition for \u2018Stargirl.\u2019 Within a couple of weeks, I signed a contract. It all h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened so fast. It was such an emotional roller coaster for me, going from \u2018Okay, is acting what I\u2019m supposed to do for the rest of my life or will I go to school?\u2019 to \u2018Wow, I\u2019m now going to be a TV superhero!\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI kind of feel like Courtney, because she\u2019s so excited and proud of being \u2018Stargirl,\u2019\u00a0and that\u2019s how I am as Brec.
