The agency for\u00a0Tatsuhisa Suzuki<\/strong><\/em> announced<\/span><\/a> on Wednesday that the singer\/voice actor would be taking a leave of\u00a0absence from the public eye after an article from Bunshun Online\u00a0<\/span>claimed<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0<\/b>he\u00a0cheated on his wife, J-pop superstar\u00a0LiSA.<\/strong>\u00a0Today the official website for the Ultraman<\/strong><\/em> anime announced<\/span><\/a> that Suzuki’s<\/strong> agency has offered that he resign from the series<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the Ultraman<\/strong><\/em> anime, which is streaming its first season on Netflix with another coming in 2021, Suzuki<\/strong> was set to voice Kotaro Higashi, who wears the Ultraman Taro suit, and making his debut in the second season. The character is the anime version of the popular\u00a0Ultraman and human\u00a0from the live-action series, who debuted in 1973 and has been seen in every series of Ultraman<\/strong><\/em> since then through either flashbacks or team-ups.<\/p>\n

In a post on the Ultraman<\/strong><\/em> anime website, the staff said that they “will discuss the role of Kotaro Higashi” and “will report as soon\u00a0as something is decided.”\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
