“#Frank Ocean Launches Luxury Company Homer<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Frank Ocean is launching a luxury company called Homer<\/a>. The independent American company\u2019s first collection will include printed silk scarves and jewelry pieces that are handcrafted using 18-karat gold, recycled sterling silver, hand-painted enamel, and American lab\u2013grown diamonds. The Homer products are designed in New York and handmade in Italy.<\/p>\n

Ocean did the catalog cover and photography for Homer; there\u2019s also campaign imagery by Tyrone Lebon (a frequent Ocean collaborator and the director of the \u201cNikes\u201d music video). A press release notes that the company\u2019s name \u201crepresents carving history into stone,\u201d and that the Homer designs are inspired by \u201cchildhood obsessions\u201d and \u201cheritage as a fantasy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frank Ocean will open a Homer jewelry store in Manhattan on Monday, August 9. The store is located at 70-74 Bowery and is app<\/a>ointment-only.<\/p>\n
