While we still don\u2019t have confirmation on how long the Netflix phenomenon will ultimately last, the show\u2019s final season may not be the actual end of the <em>Stranger Things<\/em> universe. Executive producer <strong>Shawn Levy<\/strong>\u00a0has revealed that there\u2019s a chance we could end up seeing one or more <em>Stranger Things<\/em> spin-offs.\u00a0<span id=\"more-692009\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/collider.com\/will-stranger-things-season-5-be-the-final-season-shawn-levy-interview\/\">Collider<\/a>, the topic turned to the possibility of <em>Stranger Things<\/em> spin-offs to keep the franchise alive after the main show reaches its conclusion. Levy, who has executive produced the show from the start and directed eight episodes, responded:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019d say what\u2019s been made clear is this is obviously a tent pole, arguably the tentpole franchise in the history of Netflix. Obviously certain other shows played key roles in their evolution, but Stranger Things with 196 million viewers over the time that we\u2019ve been on the air, that\u2019s a lot of households. And it\u2019s unique in that Netflix service. What\u2019s been made clear is there is an interest and a real voracious <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>etite for any offshoot, any other iteration format or extension of the franchise, the characters, the mythology. Levy was probably trying to avoid articles exactly like this one by hedging his bets. Sorry, pal \u2013 we\u2019re writing about it anyway! So, with the caveat that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">possible spin-offs still feel a little ways off<\/span> (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">if they ever happen at all<\/span>), let\u2019s speculate wildly about what might make a good spin-off set in the <em>Stranger Things<\/em> universe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Murray Bauman: The Prequel<\/strong>: The early years of the unkempt and seemingly nutso former investigative journalist (<strong>Brett Gelman<\/strong>) working at the Chicago Sun-Times. Also features a young Hopper straight out of the police academy, and a freshly-married Joyce and Lonnie Byers, before that relationship turned sour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Steve, Robin, and Dustin Show<\/strong>: Steve Harrington (<strong>Joe Keery<\/strong>) and Robin Buckley (<strong>Maya Hawke<\/strong>) had an excellent dynamic together behind that ice cream shop counter in season 3, and fans love the relationship between Steve and Dustin (<strong>Gaten Matarazzo<\/strong>). Throw them all into a new work environment (Family Video may not be left standing by the end of the main <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>), and you\u2019ve got yourself the makings of a solid workplace comedy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Barb\u2019s Adventures in the Upside Down<\/strong>: A three-camera sitcom about Barb\u2019s corpse yukking it up with Demogorgons, Mind Flayers, and more otherworldly creatures.
