The Americans now have a record 10 medals in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Riding Don Juan Van de Donkhoeve, a 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood stallion, Springsteen incurred four of Team USA\u2019s eight faults in the final to take them to a jump-off with Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>All six riders had clear rounds, but Sweden\u2019s total time of 122.90 seconds staved off the Americans by a mere 1.3 seconds to take gold. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was dis<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointed to have the four faults,\u201d Springsteen told reporters, per The Guardian. \u201cI kind of took for granted a little bit, I wasn\u2019t really expecting that to be one of my challenges. So I\u2019m disappointed in that regard. But riding alongside teammates Laura Kraut and McLain Ward in jump-off Saturday, Springsteen was able to wipe away some of that disappointment. Springsteen, Kraut and Ward each moved cleanly through the shortened jump-off course in a combined time of 124.2 seconds.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Follow_all_the_2020_Olympics_action\"><\/span>Follow all the 2020 Olympics action<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Springsteen, who is also the daughter of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Patti Scialfa, grew up on the family\u2019s horse farm in Colts Neck, New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p>She is currently the highest-placed woman in the International Federation for Equestrian Sports world rankings (14th).
