Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took a moment out of her busy schedule to offer some relationship advice to her 8.7 million Instagram followers and offered that the popular social<\/a> network helped keep her relationship strong.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram story Friday evening, the Queens congresswoman was asked by a fan \u201cwhat\u2019s the key to a health relationship when your [significant other] when you\u2019re always in the public eye.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking from bed, AOC punted the question to Riley Roberts \u2014\u00a0sitting just off camera.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe spend mornings together, spend quality time together, browse TikTok together,\u201d Roberts said, cooing an affectionate vocal affectation as they both laughed.<\/p>\n

Roberts, 31, frequently app<\/a>ears as a background character in AOC\u2019s Insta stories. In a February 2020 cameo he participated in a discussion about \u201ccombating racism as a white person.\u201d<\/p>\n

The future congresswoman met Roberts while they were both students at Boston University. He earned dual degrees in sociology and finance. He currently works as a web developer,\u00a0according to Marie Claire<\/a>.<\/p>\n
