Cops are looking for help finding a man who struck out in Bensonhurst.<\/p>\n

The unidentified would-be bandit entered a Chase Bank on Bay Parkway Friday at 2:50 p.m. and passed a note to a 27-year-old male teller demanding cash, police said.<\/p>\n

When the teller did not immedia<\/a>tely comply, the the unsuccessful crook got cold feet and fled empty-handed, cops said.<\/p>\n

The NYPD on Saturday released photos of the suspect sought in the attempted robbery.<\/p>\n

Authorities are looking for a man app<\/a>roximately 40-50 years old, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, dark-colored bandanna across his face and light-colored sweatpants.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). <\/p>\n
