Want people to maintain their distance? Worried about someone breathing on you? Don\u2019t worry, Dutch fashion designer and engineer Anouk Wipprecht has created a solution to your problem.<\/p>\n

Wipprecht has created \u201cThe Spider Dress,\u201d which enforces social distancing via the bone-like tentacles with sensors surrounding the body.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt measures the intimate space, the personal space, the social space and the public space of the wearer,\u201d Wipprech told NPR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During COVID, Wipprech also created another garment, \u201cProximity Dress,\u201d which, NPR notes, \u201cuses ultrasonic range finders that allow it to puff up or inflate when someone gets near.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0Wipprecht noted she wore the Proximity Dress to a Miami park and people did indeed give her space.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
