“#Cuomo ‘groping’ accuser revealed as Brittany Commisso in new interview<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The female aide who\u2019s accused Gov. Andrew Cuomo of groping her has revealed her identity as part of an interview in which she discusses the incident \u2014 which is now the subject of a criminal investigation.<\/p>\n

Brittany Commisso told \u201cCBS This Morning\u201d and the Albany Times Union that she filed a complaint against Cuomo because \u201cit was the right thing to do,\u201d according to an excerpt released Sunday morning<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe governor needs to be held accountable,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat he did to me was a crime. He broke the law.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cuomo has repeatedly denied that he ever \u201ctouched anyone inappropriately\u201d but has been in hiding since state Attorney General<\/a> Letitia James on Tuesday released a report that accused him of sexually harassing 11 women, including nine current and former state workers.<\/p>\n

Commisso is identified in the 168-page report as \u201cExecutive Assistant #1.\u201d<\/p>\n
