A man was killed in Brooklyn Saturday night in a shooting that also injured a young woman, during a bloody night in the five boroughs, according to police. <\/p>\n

The man was shot twice in the chest on Pennsylvania Avenue off Riverdale Avenue in East New York at 11:23 p.m. and pronounced dead shortly after at a nearby hospital, according to the NYPD. The\u00a019-year-old woman, shot in her torso outside the two-story building, was rushed to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition, cops said. <\/p>\n

A 22-year-old man with a gun was taken into custody, according to police. <\/p>\n

East New York\u2019s 75th precinct saw seven people Saturday night into Sunday, police said.<\/p>\n

Nearby, a man was shot in the chest and a woman was shot in the torso about 11:23 p.m., police said.\u00a0Medics took the man to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition, cops said. The woman was taken to Kings County Hospital and was listed in stable condition, according to police.<\/p>\n

Additionally, four men were shot at Georgia and Wortman avenues. The victims were in serious condition, sources previously told The Post. And just blocks away at Sheffield Ave and Wortman Ave, another person was shot, sources previously told The Post.<\/p>\n

The mayhem left at least 13 people shot across New York City overnight in another summer weekend in New York City with high amounts of gun violence. <\/p>\n

On July 31 into Aug. 1, 18 people were shot dead in the Big App<\/a>le and 15 others wounded in a bloody night of shootings, including a mass shooting in Queens that left at least 10 people injured.<\/p>\n
