Two people were shot dead and three others wounded when gunfire erupted at a Brooklyn party early Sunday \u2014 part of another bloody weekend in the Big App<\/a>le.<\/p>\n

Cops responding to a ShotSpotter alert at 101 Wortman Avenue in East New York shortly after 12:30 a.m. found three gunshot victims in a car outside and two others inside the building. <\/p>\n

Two of the victims in the vehicle \u2014 both 36-year-old men, one shot in the head the other in the face and chest \u2014 were later pronounced dead at area hospitals, police said. <\/p>\n

A 51-year-old man who was also shot inside the car was hit in the back, chest, and arm, and was listed in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital.<\/p>\n

Cops said two other victims were shot inside the venue.<\/p>\n

A 32-year-old man was struck in the chest and neck and was also listed in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital, police said. <\/p>\n

Another man, 37, was listed in stable condition at Montefiore Hospital in New Rochelle with a shoulder wound after being driven there before cops arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n

Police said no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n

The deadly gunplay came after at least 10 people were shot in the Big Apple on Saturday, including a 15-year-old boy clinging to life after being shot multiple times in Inwood and a 19-year-old woman shot dead in East New York, according to police. <\/p>\n

The dead woman was with a 25-year-old man when another man, 22, allegedly opened fire on the pair shortly before 11:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was sleeping and that woke me up,\u201d a 22-year-old local told The Post. \u201cI came downstairs, I opened the door and I saw the bodies.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt sounded different from anything I\u2019ve ever heard,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was so close. It sounded really loud and fast. It was quick.\u201d<\/p>\n

The woman was taken to Kings County Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, while the man was injured. <\/p>\n

\u201cI heard about eight shots,\u201d said another neighbor. \u201cAfter six, I got lost. I could tell right away they were gunshots. No, that ain\u2019t no firecrackers. It sounded loud \u2014 boom, boom. It was a big gun.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said an eyewitness told him the shooting was over \u201ca stare.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe pulled out a gun and asked, \u2018Why you looking at me?’\u201d the neighbor said. \u201cHe turned his head. He didn\u2019t think the kid had a gun. He pulled out his gun and shot him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cops have the suspected gunman in custody but have not announced charges. <\/p>\n

In a separate attack, police said a man was also attacked by about a half-dozen people and slashed with a machete in Sunset Park around 6 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n
