As reported<\/span><\/a> in April, voice actress\/singer Minori Chihara<\/strong><\/span><\/a> will be taking a break from singer activities by the end of the year. Her last concert before the break, titled “Minori Chihara the Last Live 2021 ~Re:Contact~,”<\/strong> is set to be held at Kanagawa Kenmin Hall (capacity: 2,493) in Kanagawa prefecture on December 26, 2021. Also, her new mini-album “Re:Contact” <\/strong>will be released on November 18.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The news<\/a> were revealed at her two-day concert “SUMMER CHAMPION 2021 ~Minori Chihara Final Summer Live~,”<\/strong> held at Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater in Yamanashi Prefecture on August 7 and 8. Advance sales of the 8,500 yen ticket for her last\u00a0concert is now being held on ePlus<\/span><\/a> from August 8 to 29.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chihara is well known as the voice of Yuki Nagato in Haruhi Suzumiya<\/em><\/span><\/a>, Mitsuki Nase in Beyond The Boundry<\/em><\/span><\/a>, Kaori Nakaseko in Sound! Euphonium<\/em><\/span><\/a>, and Erica Brown in Violet Evergarden<\/em><\/span><\/a>. As a solo singer herself, she has released 27 singles and seven original albums from Lantis since December 2004. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

She said in April, “Reaching 40 years old, the milestone of my life, in the midst of the Corona disaster, was a big turning point for me to rethink my future. And in the time I spent facing myself, I came to think that maybe the path as an expressive artist is not all I have to offer.” She will continue her activities as a voice actress even after she stops singing.<\/p>\n
