“#Andrew Cuomo ‘groping’ accuser Brittany Commisso opens up in CBS interview<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n

The aide who has lodged the most serious accusations against Gov. Andrew Cuomo went public on Monday, claiming he groped and hugged her for \u201cpersonal sexual satisfaction\u201d \u2014 and turned her \u201cdream job \u2026 into a nightmare.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a new interview, Brittany Commisso, previously known only as \u201cExecutive Assistant #1,\u201d tearfully detailed her encounters with Cuomo, for whom she started working in 2017.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese were not hugs he would give his mother or his brother. These are hugs with the intention of getting some personal sexual satisfaction out of it,\u201d Commisso, 32, said on \u201cCBS This Morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then, they started to be hugs, with kisses on the cheek. And then there was at one point, a hug and when he went to kiss me on the cheek, he quickly turned his head and kissed me on the lips.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe thought this was normal to me, and the other women that he did this to,\u201d she added of the incident at the Executive Mansion in Albany. \u201cIt was not normal, it was not welcome, and it was certainly not consensual.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commisso alleges that on New Year\u2019s Eve 2019, the governor groped her behind after she helped him with his \u201cState of the State\u201d speech.<\/p>\n

After Cuomo suggested taking a selfie, Commisso said the 63-year-old governor began \u201crubbing\u201d Commisso\u2019s butt.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was to my left. I was on the right. With my right hand, I took the selfie,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI then felt while taking the selfie, his hand goes down my back onto my butt, and he started rubbing it. Not sliding it. Not, you know, quickly brushing over it \u2014 rubbing my butt.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said she was so \u201cnervous\u201d her hands began shaking, prompting Cuomo to suggest they sit on the couch because all the photos were blurry.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember looking at them, and when he said, \u2018Can I see them?\u2019 I showed him them,\u201d she recalled. \u201cAnd he said, \u2018Oh, those aren\u2019t \u2013 those aren\u2019t good,’\u201d and suggested they sit on the couch instead.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we sat down on the couch and in the photo I have my arm wrapp<\/a>ed around his shoulder, almost as if we were taking a picture with a buddy. And I got a clear photo sitting down,\u201d Commisso continued.<\/p>\n

That selfie was released last week as part of New York State Attorney General<\/a> Letitia James\u2019 damning report accusing Cuomo of sexually harassing 11 women \u2014 including Commisso, whose face was blurred out.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

After the New Year\u2019s incident, the mom of one claims he groped her the second time in November last year when he hugged her in a \u201csexually aggressive manner\u201d at the mansion.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe goes to give me a hug. It was probably the most sexually aggressive manor than any of the hugs,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was then I said, \u2018You\u2019re going to get us in trouble.\u2019 I thought to myself that probably wasn\u2019t the best thing to say. I was so afraid the mansion staff were going to come up and see it,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n

Commisso said Cuomo then \u201cshut the door so hard\u201d that she thought someone downstairs would think something was going on.<\/p>\n

She alleges Cuomo slipped his hand up her shirt and placed his \u201clarge hand\u201d on her bra \u2014 before leaving without saying a word.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe came back to me and that\u2019s when he put his hand up my blouse and cupped my breast over my bra,\u201d Commisso said. \u201cI exactly remember looking down, seeing his hand, which is a large hand, thinking to myself, \u2018Oh, my God. This is happening.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Commisso added, \u201cIt happened so quick, he didn\u2019t say anything. When I stopped it, he just pulled away and walked away.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

In March, the governor denied inappropriately touching staffers following an avalanche of accusers early in the year \u2014 a denial that prompted Commisso to come forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know the truth. He knows the truth. I know what happened and so does he,\u201d she said in the CBS interview, calling his denials \u201cdisgusting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe almost has this smirk that he thinks that he\u2019s untouchable,\u201d Commisso said. \u201cI almost feel like he has this sense of almost a celebrity status and it just \u2014 that was the tipping point. I broke down. I said, \u2018He is lying.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt like he was personally saying it to me that, \u2018I never touched anyone inappropriately,’\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd, yes, you did.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked by \u201cCBS This Morning\u201d co-host Jericka Duncan about the \u201cappropriate punishment\u201d for Cuomo, the aide said he should step aside and receive \u201cprofessional help.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI do think he needs to resign, and I also do think he needs to seek counseling. I do think he needs professional help,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has many things he needs to work through.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Commisso filed a criminal complaint against the governor. Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple said Saturday Cuomo could face \u201ca couple\u201d misdemeanor charges.<\/p>\n

Commisso, who has levied the most serious sexual misconduct allegations against Cuomo, identified herself as \u201cExecutive Assistant #1\u201d for the first time in clips of the CBS interview released Sunday, in which she said the governor \u201cbroke the law\u201d by groping her breast under her shirt.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe governor needs to be held accountable,\u201d she said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
