According to local enthusiasts, the installation is <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ladybudd.com\/2021\/08\/08\/voxel-bridge-is-ready-to-launch\/\">getting<\/a> ready for the public launch this Tuesday and will run until spring 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The art object is a 1,800 square meter installation by New York-based artist Jessica Angel that explores how public space can be constructed and utilized in both digital and physical realities. Shaped in the real world in the form of a massive two-dimensional vinyl mural, the piece also simultaneously exists in augmented reality through the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a> and resides on a blockchain network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArt is a mobilizing force with the power to bridge seemingly dissimilar worlds, and Voxel Bridge exhibits this capacity,\u201d Angel said. \u201cThis installation transcends the enjoyment of art into a unifying and experimenting effort that enables blockchain technology, AR, and public art to examine new ways of interaction,\u201d the artist noted.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Vancouver Biennale opens a bridge into the digital world. The NFTs will\u00a0be <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theartnewspaper.com\/news\/vancouver-biennial-opens-a-bridge-into-the-digital-world\">sold<\/a> on the Kusama art marketplace RMRK, with funds directed to offset the cost of producing the project, which reportedly <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/vancouversun.com\/news\/cambie-bridge-turning-into-digital-analogue-world-of-voxel-bridge\">went<\/a> over-budget at more than $300,000.<\/p>\n<p>The Kusama Council initially <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/kusama.polkassembly.io\/post\/315\">proposed<\/a> the project in October, describing the project as a multidisciplinary piece and a \u201chigh impact art installation.\u201d \u201cVoxel Bridge will provide an experiential perspective of the Kusama Network, rather than a technical one,\u201d a council member stated.<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"markets_outlook\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
