Mike Tyson took \u201cHotboxin’\u201d to another level. <\/p>\n

During a recent episode of his \u201cHotboxin’\u201d podcast \u2014 that features powerful conversations with stars in a \u201cstudio full of smoke<\/a>\u201d \u2014 Tyson was seemingly too high speak with guest Khabib Nurmagomedov.<\/p>\n

The episode has gone viral due to Tyson barely speaking during the 1-hour, 19-minute conversation. Luckily, co-host Henry Cejudo helped fill the time with the former UFC champion \u2014 often asking Tyson his thoughts on various topics to prompt him to speak. <\/p>\n

When the episode aired, Twitter<\/a> critics pointed out Tyson\u2019s \u201cstoned\u201d demeanor. Some fans expressed disappointment in Tyson<\/a> for \u201cwasting\u201d an interview with a fighter of Nurmagomedov\u2019s caliber. <\/p>\n

\u201cMike Tyson came to the Khabib podcast way too high. Ruined it for me, guy was barely awake,\u201d one person tweeted<\/a>. Another added<\/a> that Tyson \u201cwasted the Khabib interview. I know the podcast is called Hotboxin but what\u2019s the point of the podcast if you\u2019re too high to talk.\u201d <\/p>\n

Despite the mixed reviews, other fans poked fun at Tyson being \u201ctoo high\u201d to talk, and praised the legendary boxer. <\/p>\n

Tyson hasn\u2019t shied away from his love for marijuana<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The 53-year-old joined the marijuana industry in 2018, and owns a 40-acre cannabis ranch in California that manufactures marijuana, along with a number of other weed products. He also has his own school, Tyson Cultivation School, where farmers are taught how to grow and develop strains of cannabis.<\/p>\n

In November, \u201cIron Mike\u201d said he smoked marijuana before\u00a0his eight-round exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr.\u00a0\u2014 his first fight in 15 years. He has, though, maintained weed does not impact his performance in the ring. <\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely yes\u2026 Listen, I can\u2019t stop smoking,\u201d the former heavyweight champion of the world told reporters at Staples Center after the fight. \u201cI smoked during fights. I just have to smoke, I\u2019m sorry. I\u2019m a smoker. \u2026 I smoke everyday. I never stopped smoking. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just who I am,\u2019\u2019 Tyson continued. \u201cIt has no effect on me from a negative standpoint. It\u2019s just what I do and how I am and how I\u2019m going to die. There\u2019s no explanation. There\u2019s no beginning, there\u2019s no end.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
