\u201cSex and the City\u201d actor Willie Garson admitted it was difficult to talk to notable guest star Mikhail Baryshnikov on set due to a cultural barrier. <\/p>\n

Baryshnikov, 73, starred as Aleksandr Petrovsky, Carrie Bradshaw\u2019s (Sarah Jessica Parker) artist boyfriend, in the iconic HBO show\u2019s final season in 2004. Garson, 54, recently spoke<\/a> to Us Weekly about working with the Russian dancer and actor.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not Russian, so it was very hard to make conversation with Mikhail,\u201d Garson said. \u201cNot because he\u2019s bad or mean, he\u2019s just very Russian.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cWhite Collar\u201d star revealed that he doesn\u2019t regret any exchanges he had with the Lativiae-born entertainer. Garson even detailed what a typical conversation between them was like way back when. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019d say, like, \u2018Misha, what\u2019d you do last night?\u2019 and he would literally say, \u2018Dinner,\u2019 but just kind of, like, ending the conversation,\u201d Garson explained. \u201cBut it\u2019s just a different way of living. And I would [jokingly] tell him, \u2018Well, I went to Studio 54 and did cocaine off of Grace Jones last night. So I had a better night.\u2019 No, I never [did that].\u201d<\/p>\n

Garson also dished about his experience working with singer Liza Minelli on the movie \u201cSex and the City 2.\u201d Minelli officiated the wedding of Garson\u2019s character Stanford and Mario Cantone\u2019s Anthony, during which she performed Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s huge hit \u201cSingle Ladies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love Liza so much and she was such a player and came to play hard. She worked so hard on this song and dance number,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I think I did [an] ad-lib in the wedding [scene]. She asked if we say \u2018I do.\u2019 And I think I said, \u2018I do, Liza Minnelli!\u2019 I think I had to add it because it was so over the top ridiculous.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garson and Cantone, 61, will reprise their roles in the 10-episode HBO Max reboot, \u201cAnd Just Like That,\u201d which has begun filming<\/a> in and around<\/a> New York City. There\u2019s no word yet if Baryshnikov will make an app<\/a>earance in the revival.<\/p>\n

In addition to key players Parker, Cynthia Nixon (as Miranda) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte), also reuniting for the sequel are Chris Noth as Mr. Big, John Corbett as Carrie\u2019s former beau Aidan<\/a>, David Eigenberg as Miranda\u2019s husband Steve and Bridget Moynahan as Big\u2019s ex-wife Natasha. Kim Cattrall, meanwhile, is still MIA.\n <\/div>\n
