“#Jana Kramer Opens Up About ‘Things I Really Regret Saying’ Following Ugly Mike Caussin Split

\nJana Kramer<\/strong> is taking some time to reflect on where she\u2019s been and where she\u2019s going.<\/p>\n

Namely, the country crooner is thinking long and hard about what went down between her and now-ex-husband\u00a0Mike Caussin<\/strong> as they split up for good way back in April. Or, more to the point, after<\/em> they split.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0I Got The Boy<\/em> singer has had quite a bit to say about her former NFL<\/strong> player ex and their breakup is as their divorce wound through the courts (and the court of public opinion). It\u2019s all that gab that she\u2019s now second-guessing!<\/p>\n

Jana\u2019s wrestles with that issue with host Maria Menounos<\/strong> on the latest episode of Better Together<\/em>, a daily life improvement digital show that the former E!<\/em> host produces and broadcasts.<\/p>\n

In their conversation, the two women take a deep dive into exploring how and why the 37-year-old Kramer has remorse following her split from the ex-NFL<\/strong> football player. Jana tells Maria:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s one of those things where there are so many things I wish I could take back and when it\u2019s already out there, [the] press has picked it up or you\u2019re like \u2018Ah I wish I would have not said it like that!\u2019 There\u2019s a lot of things I really regret saying\u2026 [I\u2019m] straight up open about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We wonder which things in particular? Like when she basically confirmed the reports he cheated on her yet again, this time while she was recovering from breast augmentation surgery?<\/p>\n

Of course, we\u2019ve covered no shortage of stories involving Kramer and the things she\u2019s had to say about Caussin over the last few months especially \u2014 be they on her own\u00a0Whine Down<\/em> podcast, or speaking with friends, or talking directly to fans on social media<\/a> platforms.<\/p>\n

One thing is for sure: Jana always has a LOT to say about this relationship and its aftermath. \/ (c) Jana Kramer\/Instagram \/ DJDM\/WENN<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Heck, it goes back years, too; at one point in her convo with Menounos, Jana admits regretting her decision to publish the couple\u2019s book The Good Fight<\/em>, which focused\u00a0on marriage and infidelity.<\/p>\n

And so now that the dust has settled some and the couple\u2019s time together is but a memory, the\u00a0One Tree Hill<\/em> alum clearly wonders whether being\u00a0so<\/em> open was the right move to make. Further along in the ep, Kramer adds:<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s honestly the reason I started talking about the infidelity piece of my marriage because I wanted to change the narrative [when they were still together]. [Mike] didn\u2019t understand, and I was like, \u2018People will write about the fact you cheated on me in every article, let\u2019s change the narrative,\u2019 and be like, \u2018Hey but this is how we survived it and how we got through it,\u2019 and obviously, we didn\u2019t end up [with that] positive tone.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

No kidding\u2026<\/p>\n

Rueful that things didn\u2019t turn out so well regarding \u201cthe narrative,\u201d as she terms it, Jana admits she\u2019s once again trying to alter people\u2019s perceptions of her in a more positive light:<\/p>\n

\u201cNow I\u2019m like let\u2019s change the narrative to how I\u2019m stronger and how I was able to walk through it. It\u2019s definitely hard because there\u2019s moments where I do feel weak and I do feel not strong and I want to post something maybe a little mean to my ex or a little jab.\u00a0But at the end of the day, I\u2019m like \u2018Okay that\u2019s probably going to get picked up and that\u2019s probably going to start a fight with us and my kids are going to read it.’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hmmm\u2026 that\u2019s a tough one, especially considering these two still have to interact quite a bit while co-parenting their two children: son\u00a0Jace Joseph<\/strong>, 2, and daughter\u00a0Jolie Rae<\/strong>, 5.<\/p>\n
