Katie Thurston\u2018s journey to find love is officially coming to an end and there\u2019s only two men left vying for that final rose. Will she choose Blake or Justin \u2014 or walk away empty-handed? And what h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ens when she comes face-to-face with Greg after their heart-wrenching goodbye? Read on for everything that goes down on <em>The Bachelorette<\/em> finale.<\/p>\n<p>So, we kick off the evening with Katie in the studio with hosts Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams. Im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely, she\u2019s questioned about her breakup with Greg. But despite the emotional goodbye she had with the former frontrunner, it seems as though her sadness has turned to anger towards him. \u201cTo watch him talk down to me and twice walk away from me, that\u2019s not a man,\u201d she admits. Greg and Katie haven\u2019t spoken since that difficult day in New Mexico and tonight will be the first time the two get to have another conversation \u2014 and something tells me this isn\u2019t going to be pretty.<\/p>\n<p>But before we get to that convo with Greg, which we\u2019re all desperately waiting to see, we cut back to Katie\u2019s journey with her final two men. We see her in bed totally distraught over Greg leaving. She\u2019s questioning if it\u2019s even worth finishing the journey now that her frontrunner is gone.<\/p>\n<p>Kaitlyn and Tayshia pop by to deliver the surprising <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> to Blake and Justin that Greg has eliminated himself and the men are clearly shocked. That\u2019s right, Justin managed to make it to the final two and literally NO ONE understands how, but there\u2019s no time to dissect that one. Right now, we\u2019re focusing on the additional time the men will get now that Greg\u2019s gone. We see her sipping champagne, chillin\u2019 in the hot tub, and basically just loving life with Blake right now. But the Greg situation <em>does<\/em> get brought up. She tells Blake that she wanted to quit the show after he left and wanted to be honest about how she\u2019s been feeling. Blake\u2019s clearly overwhelmed by that bomb, as he wasn\u2019t aware of how deep her connection with Greg was. But still, he\u2019s all smiles while kissing Katie in the hot tub, seemingly confident that an overnight date will cure any lingering heartache Katie may have.<\/p>\n<p>Later that night, Blake brings up why he hasn\u2019t said the L-word to Katie yet. He admits that he\u2019s very careful with who he shares that word with. Instead of saying it, he tries to express it through physical affection. But tonight, he\u2019s ready to change that. He tells her that during their hometown date last week, he realized that he loves her. \u201cI love you and I\u2019m f\u2013king really excited about life,\u201d he says with a huge smile.<\/p>\n<p>Katie\u2019s face lights up and she comes to terms with Blake\u2019s confession. She tells him she\u2019s wanted to wait to say the L-word as well, but now with Greg gone (and come on, Justin is not a contender I\u2019m sorry), there\u2019s no point in holding anything back. \u201cI f\u2013king love you so much,\u201d she says. And the two head to a fantasy suite for a <em>very<\/em> intimate night, I\u2019m guessing.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s now the next morning and these two are still rock solid. They lay in bed together eating breakfast and they\u2019re both completely smitten. \u201cLast night was everything I could\u2019ve hoped for,\u201d she tells him before kissing him goodbye.<\/p>\n<p>But now it\u2019s time to let Justin go. Yes, he\u2019s still here. But regardless, it\u2019s not an easy thing to do. \u201cYou are someone I wanted to explore things with, but given how I now feel about Blake, knowing that I am in love with him, it wouldn\u2019t make sense to have us move forward,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>To be honest, Justin doesn\u2019t seem <em>that <\/em>shocked. He has to know that he wasn\u2019t first choice (or even second, or third?) in Katie\u2019s mind. Still, he\u2019s bummed to be leaving empty handed after making it so far.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope he knows what he has, I hope he doesn\u2019t take you for granted,\u201d he says of Blake before taking off.<\/p>\n<p>We cut to the studio with Kaitlyn and Tayshia, and Justin comes face-to-face with Katie for the first time since she broke things off. Right away, Justin gets choked up and is unable to speak. Through tears, he asks if he was only in the spot that he ended up in because others left the show. Katie dances around the answer, and tells him that he was there for a reason. Still, he doesn\u2019t seem sold on the fact that he would\u2019ve be in the final two if Greg, or even Michael had stayed on the show.<\/p>\n<p>But to be honest, we can\u2019t waste too much more time on these two because we need to get to that proposal and all the Greg stuff, so let\u2019s move on, shall we?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1008790\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/after-the-final-rose.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2028\" height=\"1352\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/after-the-final-rose.jpg 2028w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/after-the-final-rose-434x289.jpg 434w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/after-the-final-rose-855x570.jpg 855w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/after-the-final-rose-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/after-the-final-rose-234x155.jpg 234w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/after-the-final-rose-570x380.jpg 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2028px) 100vw, 2028px\"\/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Blake_meets_Katies_family\"><\/span>Blake meets Katie\u2019s family<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There\u2019s only one man left standing now meaning Blake is the only guy who gets to meet Katie\u2019s mom and aunt. While Blake is sharing details of his life \u2014 including where he\u2019s from and his \u201ccareer\u201d \u2014 it\u2019s clear that Katie\u2019s aunt isn\u2019t confident that these two have what it takes to last. Katie\u2019s aunt pulls him aside and starts to grill him on why he showed up this season. Surprisingly, he\u2019s still not able to convince her that \u201cthey both just click\u201d is a reason to get engaged.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s clear that Katie and Blake haven\u2019t mapped out the logistics of their relationship, with Blake living in Canada and Katie living in the US. Blake also throws out there that he plans to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a> to Africa for work once he\u2019s off the show, which adds another layer of difficulty.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, Katie\u2019s mom is a bit softer on Blake. She at least cracks a smile while Blake shares how he feels about her daughter. \u201cShe seems so happy and that\u2019s all that matters to a parent,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>Later that evening, the two head to the Burning of Zozobra, which celebrates the release of all things negative and bring in new beginnings and growth. They both write down what they want to release in their journals, and to be honest, I\u2019m surprised Katie didn\u2019t bring Greg\u2019s ABC headshot to throw in the fire. Instead, she opens up about her fears of not being good enough for Blake and ultimately losing him. But she throws those fears in the fire.<\/p>\n<p>Blake admits in his interview that based off of his conversation with Katie\u2019s family, he\u2019s questioning if they\u2019re actually ready to get engaged \u2014 because of COURSE. There has to be SOMETHING that slows them down or else this would be the most predictable finale in <em>Bachelorette <\/em>history.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_final_day\"><\/span>The final day<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Even though Blake isn\u2019t 100% certain that he\u2019s going to propose, he still has to choose a sparkly Neil Lane ring just in case. And ABC decides that Tayshia \u2014 the woman that Blake fell in love with <em>last <\/em>season \u2014 is the perfect person to help Blake choose the ring. Blake is seriously struggling to choose a ring and walks away. Is this all too soon? Too much pressure? Not really, I mean, this is the third girl he\u2019s fallen for on TV\u2026 he was bound to get engaged at some point, right?<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 540px; min-width: 326px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CSYF0rmHVvQ\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"13\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>Before we know it, Katie\u2019s waiting at the proposal spot waiting to see Blake. He still seems unsure of what he\u2019s going to do as he walks down to see her. Katie grabs his hands and tells him that despite showing up halfway through the season, he showed up at the perfect time. \u201cI\u2019ll never forget the moment we first met, the chemistry was instant,\u201d she says. \u201cI never knew I\u2019d be falling head over heels in love with you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t give you what you came here for,\u201d Blake begins, like the perfect ABC fake-out, \u201cbecause you deserve a lot more than that. You deserve the world and I\u2019m excited to support you and be there for you every day moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And he gets down on one knee. And she says yes. Obviously. \u201cThis was meant to be, this exact moment, we were supposed to experience together,\u201d Katie tells him. \u201cThis is the start of forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 540px; min-width: 326px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CSYHD1tsWTZ\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"13\"><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"After_the_Final_Rose\"><\/span>After the Final Rose<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Finally the moment we\u2019ve all been waiting for: Greg walks out on stage for the <em>After the Final Rose<\/em> special. He admits that he didn\u2019t realize how unhappy he was with himself until Katie showed him how happy he could be with someone. He shares that while he and Katie had a disconnect, his ultimate goal wasn\u2019t to leave. He was hoping to work through their issue and get back on the same page. But regardless, he has no regrets with how things went down.<\/p>\n<p>Katie comes out to meet with Greg face to face and the tension is palpable. She walks right past him without hugging or greeting him. There\u2019s about five feet separating the two on that tiny little couch. Immediately, Katie rips right into Greg. She calls him out for needing validation, despite getting constant validation throughout the entire season. \u201cI felt like you were looking for the perfect opportunity to escape because you were never looking for an engagement,\u201d she tells him. \u201cYou spoke down to me, you didn\u2019t even bother to say goodbye. I don\u2019t think you know what love is.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 540px; min-width: 326px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CSYKBmeM9Im\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"13\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThat is the time I needed you the most,\u201d she continues, \u201cand you walked away.\u201d But it doesn\u2019t end there. She calls Greg out for using the show for \u201cacting practice,\u201d as it\u2019s been rumored that Greg went to acting school prior to filming. \u201cI\u2019m no Meryl Streep,\u201d he says, through uncomfortable laughter.<\/p>\n<p>And it keeps getting worse\u2026 and worse. Katie is <em>mad<\/em> and there\u2019s nothing Greg can really say to change her mind. He apologizes, but his apologies seem empty. Like, he\u2019s saying sorry for her \u201cfeeling that way\u201d and not sorry for how he actually treated her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA relationship is a two way street, and I know you\u2019re <em>The Bachelorette<\/em>, but I emptied my heart out to you on that couch and all I got was a pat on the back,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>Once again these two are just proving that they speak totally different languages. Greg isn\u2019t getting through to Katie and Katie isn\u2019t getting through to Greg. They both end the segment by wishing each other the best, but it\u2019s fairly obvious that they don\u2019t mean it.<\/p>\n<p>Katie\u2019s anger quickly turns to pure bliss as she reunites with Blake on that couch. Katie drops the bomb that she didn\u2019t even tell her family that she was engaged, and they\u2019re learning of the news right at this very moment. \u201cI didn\u2019t think they could keep a secret,\u201d she admits. <em>Wow. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>But these two are rock solid and excited to celebrate their love in the real world after having to hide it for so long. \u201cI think everyone can agree that this is exactly who I\u2019m supposed to be with,\u201d Katie says through tears. \u201cI\u2019m just so lucky.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And Blake shows her just how lucky she is by playing their song, \u201cMemorize You\u201d by Laine Hardy at the ending of the segment. People in the audience start standing up with boomboxes held over their heads, like what Blake did during the season for Katie. The two slow dance as rose pedals fall from the ceiling. A happy ending, indeed.
