She\u2019s maintained a flourishing career in both film and television over the years, most recently starring and executive producing the hit <strong>Netflix<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> <em>Dead to Me<\/em>. She wrote on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHi friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It\u2019s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It\u2019s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a**hole blocks it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <em>Anchorman<\/em> star added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAs one of my friends that has MS said \u2018 we wake up and take the indicated action\u2019. And that\u2019s what I do. So now I ask for privacy. As I go through this thing. It affects the central nervous system, and symptoms can include pain and loss of vision, weakness and numbness of the extremities, lethargy, and depression, among others. There is no cure for MS, but it can be managed through various treatments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Selma Blair Offers Tips On Handling \u2018Terrifying\u2019 Medical News During Pandemic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A handful of other celebs have opened up about having multiple sclerosis, including <strong>Jamie-Lynn Sigler<\/strong>, <strong>Jack Osbourne<\/strong>, and <strong>Selma Blair<\/strong>, who wrote shortly after revealing her diagnosis:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cPeople write me asking how I do it. I do my best. But I choke with the pain of what I have lost and what I dare hope for. and how challenging it is to walk around . But my smiles are genuine. This is ok. Life is an adventure with many shards of awakening. I can\u2019t sleep at night but daytime I have trouble staying awake . \u2026 We do what we can.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Dealing with a new, potentially frightening health condition is difficult enough, so we can\u2019t imagine having to do so publicly. It must have taken a lot of strength and courage for Christina to disclose this information.
