The smaller FTSE 250 index<br \/>\n        MCX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598417\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+0.49%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       gained 0.4% to 23,561.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Bookmaking group Flutter Entertainment<br \/>\n        FLTR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/206709455\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+8.45%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       on Tuesday reported that its pretax profit more than <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>led in the first half of the year, and performance exceeded its own expectations, sending shares up 9%. <\/p>\n<p>The owner of Paddy Power Betfair is benefiting from a \u201creturn to a more normal sporting calendar after significant pandemic-linked disruption,\u201d said AJ Bell financial analyst Danni Hewson, in a note to clients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFlutter\u2019s U.S. business continues to perform very strongly \u2013 benefiting both from the opening up of sports betting in new states and from the successful fantasy sports franchise FanDuel \u2013 though the latter is unlikely to be profitable for some time yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA potential IPO of FanDuel has been stalled for the time being given the departure of its CEO \u2013 but the strong performance may in the first half well revive the clamor for a separate listing of the business,\u201d said Hewson.<\/p>\n<p>InterContinental Hotels Group<br \/>\n        IHG,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/204459500\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-0.85%<\/bg-quote><\/p>\n<p>        IHG,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202865596\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.36%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       reported that it swung to a profit in the first half of the year, as demand improved from a year earlier.
