Somebody Somewhere<\/i> is coming soon to HBO. The network has ordered the comedy series, which stars Bridget Everett.<\/p>\n

HBO revealed more about the new series in a press release. Check that out below.<\/p>\n

\u201cHBO has given a series order to SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE<\/i>, a comedy starring and executive produced by Bridget Everett (\u201cPatti Cake$\u201d), it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming.<\/p>\n

Hannah Bos (HBO\u2019s High Maintenance<\/i>) & Paul Thureen (Driveways<\/i>) created the show and will serve as executive producers, along with Carolyn Strauss (HBO\u2019s Chernobyl<\/i>), Patricia Breen (HBO\u2019s Betty<\/i>), and from HBO\u2019s upcoming fourth and final season of Room 104<\/i>, Mark Duplass, Jay Duplass, Mel Eslyn and Tyler Romary. A production from The Mighty Mint\/Duplass Brothers Productions, Jay Duplass directed the pilot last year on location in Chicagoland.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs longtime fans of her live shows, we have been looking for the perfect way to showcase Bridget\u2019s many talents,\u201d said Gravitt. \u201cHer quest to rediscover home has truly captured our hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n

For all its vast plains and endless prairies, Kansas can feel confining for someone like Sam Miller. Inspired by the life of comedia<\/a>n and singer Bridget Everett, Sam (played by Everett) is a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggles to fit the hometown mold. As she grapp<\/a>les with loss and acceptance, singing is Sam\u2019s saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders that don\u2019t fit in but don\u2019t give up.
