Of course, the team-up amounts to mixed results \u2014 a couple of deaths here and there, and a minor threat to humanity \u2014 but it\u2019s well worth seeing the clash of these superpowered, morally ambiguous villains.\u00a0It\u2019s no wonder buzz around the film has been non-stop; the movie brings together a chaotic ensemble of characters and forces them to work together, for better or worse.<\/p>\n<p>The great thing about ensembles is how ripe they are for spin-offs, and as we\u2019ve known for a while now, Warner Bros. wasted no time moving\u00a0<strong>James Gunn<\/strong> along to a new project. The <em><strong>Peacemaker<\/strong><\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> is well underway, having already wr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed filming. His bright-red, skin-tight costume deserves all the screen time it can get, and even when he\u2019s playing a literal murderer, there\u2019s something undeniably charming about Cena\u2019s personality. On the other hand\u2026 Peacemaker sucks.<\/p>\n<p>Especially after seeing <em>The Suicide Squad<\/em>, we know Peacemaker to be the world\u2019s biggest jerk, and of the many strong emotions he inspires, love is not on the list. This leaves fans to wonder: why on Earth would Peacemaker be the character who wins the extended universe lottery and gets his own spin-off series?<\/p>\n<p>No worries, James Gunn has already stepped forward to atone for his sins. In an interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=f0mjJD_UB6I\">Entertainment Tonight<\/a>, the director offered an explanation for his further interest in Cena\u2019s character. He said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWell, I think that it\u2019s a number of things. In the movie\u2026 Harley gets a really complete story about herself, she gets a complete arc. Bloodsport gets a complete story. Rick Flag gets a complete story. Ratcatcher 2 gets a complete story. They all learn something about themselves \u2014 sometimes good things, sometimes bad things \u2014 but Peacemaker is a douche and he stays a douche and he\u2019s an asshole in the movie.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->As Gunn said, each of the other squad members not only shares info about themselves but comes to new conclusions. When the kaiju-sized threat of Starro is looming over them, their motivation for fighting changes, and the meaning behind their teamwork solidifies. But for Peacemaker, his goals are utterly stagnant. It makes him especially villainous, and all the more interesting for it.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not completely unlike the MCU motivation for spinning off with <strong><em>Loki<\/em><\/strong>. Tom Hiddleston\u2019s character begins as a villain, and despite a magnetic screen presence, proves his terrible intentions time and time again. Except, of course, that Loki shows his potential for change long before the series begins. If Peacemaker has that, we\u2019ve yet to see it \u2014 but like Loki, there are deeper depths to this character. Gunn added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think there\u2019s something below that. This guy is a loud, obnoxious, bro-ey douchebag. That sucks. But why? At what point did he become such a douchebag and what does that mean? If anyone can pull off a 10-episode series about an unlikeable character, it\u2019s the guy who made the human-shark hybrid lovable. But it never hurts to have options \u2014 so why not consider these other, perfectly viable spinoffs for<em> The Suicide Squad<\/em>?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Adventures of Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2013 Obviously, these two have shared in some antics. Just imagine all the buildings and people and entire civilizations they blew up before the start of this movie. What wouldn\u2019t you give to see 10 episodes of Australian (because in this imaginary spin-off, <strong>Margot Robbie<\/strong> gets to put on her natural accent) banter?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ratcatcher 2: Electric Boogaloo<\/strong> \u2013 Not a lot of plot idea for this one, just a title. But in the spirit of the movie that inspired the meme, Ratcatcher 2 (<strong>Daniela Melchior<\/strong>) could absolutely lead a musical. The cost of teaching rats to do choreography might be a bit much, but sometimes good art is expensive.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Attaching The Detachable\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 A <em>Bachelor<\/em>-style dating competition. There\u2019s gotta be someone out there weird enough to date TDK! His power probably satisfies a very specific kink\u2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sharknado 7: Dad-Bod To The Rescue<\/strong> \u2013 King Shark is basically indestructible. If anyone can enter the eye of the swirling shark storm, it\u2019s him.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rat Attack<\/strong> \u2013 Still workshopping this one, but maybe Sebastian battles <em><strong>Ratatouille<\/strong><\/em>\u2018s Remy for supremacy?
