When twins swap lives, it is bound to make things complicated \u2014 as it surely will in the new Netflix psychological thriller Echoes<\/em><\/a>. And it sounds like one of the sisters\u2019 husbands in the series<\/a> is going to add to those complications.<\/p>\n

Daniel Sunjata<\/a> has joined Michelle Monaghan<\/a> and Matt Bomer<\/a> in the upcoming limited series, Deadline<\/em><\/a> reports. He\u2019ll play Charlie Davenport, the spouse of one of the twins played by Monaghan, Gina. He\u2019s \u201cthe quintessential Los Angeles psychotherapist\u201d and described as \u201cempathetic, charismatic with an intellect to match.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charles \u201cfinds himself caught in the undertow of [Gina\u2019s] deep connection to twin Leni,\u201d his character descript<\/a>ion continues. \u201cBut he has a hidden dimension as well. One that will complicate both sisters\u2019 lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

The seven-episode Echoes<\/em> follows twins Leni and Gina who have a dangerous secret. They\u2019ve been secretly swapping lives ever since they were children and now have a double-life as adults: they share two homes, two husbands, and a child. But everything in their perfectly choreographed world is thrown into disarray when one of the women goes missing.<\/p>\n

As was previously announced, Bomer will be playing Leni\u2019s husband, Jack Beck. He\u2019s the boy-next-door with a successful veterinary practice and is the kind of husband everyone wishes they had. But when Leni disappears, he has the most to lose from her secret life coming to light.<\/p>\n

Sunjata\u2019s TV credits include Prodigal Son<\/em><\/a>, Manifest<\/em><\/a>, Happy!<\/em><\/a>, and Animal Kingdom<\/em><\/a>. He\u2019ll also be a series regular in the upcoming second season of Power Book II: Ghost<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Echoes<\/em> is created and written by Vanessa Gazy. Brian Yorkey and Quinton Peeples serve as co-showrunners. Gazy, Yorkey, and Peeples serve as executive producers along with Imogen Banks and Endemol Shine Banks Australia.<\/p>\n
