Now that Andrew Cuomo has resigned, his brother, Chris, must be next.<\/p>\n

They are, after all, both guilty of gross ethics violations.<\/p>\n

Before his \u201clong-planned vacation\u201d this week, it has been positively Orwellian to watch, night after night, CNN\u2019s highest-rated primetime host blatantly ignore this huge, developing bombshell of a story, simply because he\u2019d rather not \u2014 while informing upper management that he would continue to advise his brother, who also faces criminal charges and civil lawsuits.<\/p>\n

I highly doubt Andrew\u2019s resignation will impact Chris\u2019 advisory status. His brother, after all, is still in crisis.<\/p>\n

Chris \u201cpromised not to discuss Andrew Cuomo\u2019s strategic response to the scandal with any government official besides the governor himself,\u201d the New York Times reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What integrity. Think about this: Chris Cuomo, who curiously still derives power and status from his disgraced and deposed brother, still gets to make his own rules. What a farce. What a display of arrogance and entitlement. Not a shred of mortification or humility.<\/p>\n

But hey, that\u2019s the Cuomo brothers for you.<\/p>\n

Not since the Kennedys has America been treated to such callous disregard by such a Democratic dynasty \u2014 to say nothing of the app<\/a>alling treatment and dismissal of victimized women.<\/p>\n

Chris Cuomo, as we learned in the AG\u2019s report, gave his brother advice at the height of his sexual harassment scandal. He was also given confidential information he had no business having, and secretly made decisions that directly impacted state employees \u2014 yet has been held to no account.<\/p>\n

He helped draft one of his brother\u2019s denials. It\u2019s all there in email form.<\/p>\n

What does this say about Chris Cuomo\u2019s view of women?<\/p>\n

After all, as a right-thinking member of the liberal elite, shouldn\u2019t Chris, too, believe all women? Or at least the multiple women who have come forward with incredibly similar stories, speaking of not just sexual harassment but bullying by the governor? Women who say they were terrified to come forward lest they become the focus of Andrew\u2019s wrath, a pattern of behavior stretching over years, even post-Harvey Weinstein?<\/p>\n

Isn\u2019t it incumbent on Chris Cuomo to cover this story? Interesting that none of Chris\u2019 female colleagues at CNN have said one word publicly. Tells you something about the corporate culture there, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Only Jake Tapper felt comfortable enough to criticize Cuomo\u2019s continued role there, and even he trod lightly, telling the New York Times in May that Chris \u201cput us in a bad spot\u201d in ignoring his brother\u2019s scandal on-air.<\/p>\n

\u201cI cannot imagine a world in which anybody in journalism thinks that was appropriate,\u201d Tapper added.<\/p>\n

I suspect for someone like Jeff Zucker \u2014 a Chris Cuomo loyalist and living embodiment of the old boys-will-be-boys network \u2014 secretly slandering female victims of sexual harassment, even in the #MeToo era, just doesn\u2019t rise to a firing offense.<\/p>\n

Seriously, not since the Washington Post\u2019s Ben Bradlee carried JFK\u2019s filthy water has there been such a high-profile, pathetic display of servility to a Democratic dynasty \u2014 one that, like the Kennedys, is all a sham.<\/p>\n

And there\u2019s so much more cause to fire Chris Cuomo. Consider:<\/p>\n

Secretly availing himself of gubernatorial privilege in getting tested and treated for COVID \u2014 information he did not share with his viewers, whom he still continues to lecture nightly about COVID.<\/p>\n

At the height of the pandemic in New York, Chris and Andrew laughed it up nightly on Chris\u2019 show \u2014 despite Chris pledging long prior never to cover his brother in any capacity. As Andrew sent elderly nursing home patients back to their certain deaths, there was nary a word on Chris\u2019 show.<\/p>\n

Anyone who was in New York City while this was happening knew the outcome \u2014 that these elderly people were all going to spread and die of COVID. You didn\u2019t have to be a virologist or a public health official to know Andrew considered the elderly expendable.<\/p>\n

For Chris Cuomo to obfuscate such human carnage is inexcusable. To make his brother the monster palatable \u2014 huggable, even \u2014 to mainstream America is egregious. Teasing Andrew about \u201cCuomosexuals\u201d and his dating life while knowing who his brother really was \u2014 you can\u2019t tell me Chris had zero clue \u2014 is to be complicit in this entire travesty.<\/p>\n

Is it any wonder so many Americans don\u2019t trust the mainstream media<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not forget Chris faking his own emergence from quarantine on-air, despite The Post reporting his wanderings around the Hamptons, in one case picking a fight with a civilian who dared question why Chris would be outside, maskless, while infected.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho the hell are you?\u201d Chris ranted at this peon. \u201cI can do what I want!\u201d<\/p>\n

Easy to see why he feels that way. Chris makes $6 million a year doing and saying whatever he wants on CNN with zero repercussions \u2014 at least, for now.<\/p>\n

His great protector Zucker is gone at the end of the year, a decision announced in February.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, if there\u2019s anyone at CNN with more common sense \u2014 let alone a commitment to actual journalism or saving the brand \u2014 let Chris make this easy on you. \u201cI don\u2019t like what I do professionally,\u201d Chris said on his XM radio show last April, an epiphany he had \u2014 of course \u2014 post-COVID. \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s worth my time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Someone, anyone \u2014 help a brother out.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
