“#Protesters celebrate Cuomo’s resignation, demand CNN fire Chris<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

A huge crowd gathered in the Big App<\/a>le to celebrate the resignation of disgraced New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo \u2014 chanting expletive-laden goodbyes to him and his CNN host brother, Chris.<\/p>\n

\u201cF\u2013k Cuomo!\u201d chanted dozens of people<\/a> crammed together in Union Square for a \u201cBye Bye Cuomo Celebration\u201d event advertised by the Sidetalk NYC<\/a> streetshow\u2019s Instagram page.<\/p>\n

\u201cF\u2013k Andrew!\u201d the group then chanted<\/a>, many raising their hands in the air or dancing in apparent joy, according to a series<\/a> of videos captured by videographer Brendan Gutenschwager.<\/p>\n

The crowd also rallied against the outgoing governor\u2019s brother, primetime CNN personality Chris Cuomo, who has himself faced heated calls for his own resignation or firing over his confessed role advising the embattled governor.<\/p>\n

\u201cF\u2013k Chris Cuomo!\u201d the crowd sang<\/a> with claps, with one person there, perhaps unaware of the CNN host\u2019s involvement, calling out, \u201cHis name is Andrew!\u201d<\/p>\n

Another call-and-response chant had someone saying \u201cCuomo\u201d just for those around to reply, \u201cNo no!\u201d<\/p>\n

Others sang about the governor\u2019s sorry state of affairs, with The Post filming one rapper rhyming about how \u201cCuomo ain\u2019t got a job no mo\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

The group met near a Union Square station entrance at 8:30 p.m., just hours after the governor grudgingly resigned, still denying that he had sexually harassed 11 women despite a damning investigation.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
