This news<\/a> is a true daily double as Jeopardy!<\/em><\/a> has officially announced its new permanent hosts. Yes, hosts. Mike Richards<\/a> and Mayim Bialik<\/a> will split duties on the long-running game<\/a> show.<\/p>\n

Richards will take over the helm of Jeopardy!<\/em>\u2018s daily syndicated format, stepping into the role previously held by the late great Alex Trebek. Meanwhile, The Big Bang Theory<\/em>\u2018s Bialik is set to host the show in a limited capacity taking on primetime specials and spin-offs.<\/p>\n

Bialik will serve as the host of Jeopardy!<\/em>\u2018s newly-announced tournament Jeopardy! National College Championship<\/em> which will air on ABC in 2022. The two hosts who served as guest hosts following Trebek\u2019s death during Season 37 beat out a long list of big names.<\/p>\n

Among the guest hosts who served alongside Richards and Bialik are Ken Jennings, Katie Couric, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Aaron Rodgers, Anderson Cooper, Bill Whitaker, Buzzy Cohen, and Savannah Guthrie, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, George Stephanopoulos, and Robin Roberts, LeVar Burton, David Faber, and Joe Buck.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Alex believed the game itself and the contestants are the most important aspects of the show. I was fortunate to witness his professionalism, intensity and kindness up close and that will serve as the ultimate blueprint as we continue to produce the show we love. I am thrilled that Mayim is joining the Jeopardy!<\/em> team. Her academic track record and enthusiasm for the game made her a terrific guest host.
