“#Pat’s Famous Now, But What About Brooke & Cary? (VIDEO)<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Will Brooke (Hel\u00e9ne Yorke) and Cary (Drew Tarver) be anything but The Other Two<\/em> in Season 2 of the comedy? They\u2019re certainly trying to stand out in the trailer.<\/p>\n

But as you\u2019ll see in the new episodes \u2014 the first two drop on August 26 on HBO Max \u2014 their younger brother, pop star ChaseDreams (Case Walker) isn\u2019t the only famous family member (though he\u2019s officially entering retirement at the age of 14). Their mother Pat\u2019s (Molly Shannon) daytime talk show is really taking off. She has plenty of fans recognizing her on the street, and when Brooke runs into her ex-boyfriend Lance (Josh Segarra), he tells her he loves Pat\u2019s show.<\/p>\n

And \u201cI\u2019m not the only host in the family who\u2019s killing it,\u201d Pat reveals. Cary, now Gay Son (n\u00e9e Brother), has his own hosting gig (\u201cIn more gay news<\/a>, Laura Dern<\/a> was spotted kayaking\u201d), but \u201cit\u2019s not acting,\u201d he insists. And if he wants to get someone to represent him? He\u2019s going to have to become a multi-hyphenate, so next up for Cary: writing.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Brooke\u2019s trying to find the next Chase to represent, but she\u2019s discovering just how run-down she gets from working all the time. That\u2019s normal for managers, as Shuli (Wanda Sykes<\/a>) tells her: \u201cI\u2019ve had pneumonia for 20 years. I just don\u2019t make it a thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Other Two<\/em> also stars Ken Marino (as Streeter). Brandon Scott Jones (as Curtis) and Gideon Glick (as Jess) recur. Guest stars include Ali Ahn, James Anderson, Justin Bartha<\/a>, Jordana Brewster<\/a>, Alessia Cara, Marcia DeBonis, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Ryan Farrell, Jimmy Fowlie, Noah Galvin<\/a>, Zosia Mamet<\/a>, Debi Mazar, Derek Peth, Alison Rich<\/a>, Tuc Watkins, Bowen Yang, and Ian Ziering<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The comedy is created, written and executive produced by former SNL<\/em> co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider. Joining them as executive producers are Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Tony Hernandez for Jax Media<\/a>. Eddie Michaels, Toye Adegboro, and Kaylani Esparza (for Broadway Video) are producers. Directors include Kelly, Schneider, Kim Nguyen, Mike Karnell, and Charlie Gruet.<\/p>\n

After the premiere, two episodes will be released each week (September 2, 9, and 16), with the final two coming on September 23.<\/p>\n
