That\u2019s how Waititi was able to create the massacre of the valkyries flashback sequence, in which light\u00a0moves rapidly over footage shot at 1,200 frames per second.<\/p>\n<p>Waititi is excited to take that concept to the next level with a new Satellite Lab technology called <strong>PlateLight<\/strong>.\u00a0It uses the same principle (high-speed lights and slow-motion footage) to capture multiple lighting set-ups simultaneously within a single shot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then when you break down that footage into increments of 24 frames per second,\u201d Waititi said. \u201cYou have every single kind of lighting, all individually captured. So later you can choose your lighting in post-production.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Waititi is also using Industrial Light &amp; Magic\u2019s StageCraft technology, which he first used directing the season 1 finale of\u00a0<strong><em>The Mandalorian<\/em><\/strong>. It allows filmmakers to generate reactive digital backdrops in real time through LED screens wr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed around a set. It\u2019s kind of like old <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> shooting driving scenes in front of a screen projection, just far more advanced. Waititi is a fan of this method, because it harkens back to the \u201cold school\u201d way of filmmaking.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe actors can be in the environment; they can see what everyone else can see,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Whats_Next_for_Waititi\"><\/span>What\u2019s Next for Waititi<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->Having finished filming on\u00a0<em>Thor: Love and Thunder,\u00a0<\/em>Waititi is now focusing on his upcoming\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em> film.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s still in the \u2018EXT. SPACE\u2019 stage,\u201d he said, joking about the way scenes are opened in scripts. \u201cBut we\u2019ve got a story. I\u2019m really excited by it because it feels very me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Waititi\u2019s one busy creative. In addition to his\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em> movie, he\u2019s also tied to making a sequel to\u00a0<em><strong>What We Do in the Shadows<\/strong><\/em><em>,<\/em> an animated remake of\u00a0<em><strong>Flash Gordon<\/strong><\/em><em>,<\/em> two animated series of Roald Dahl stories for Netflix, and a live-action adaptation of\u00a0<em><strong>Akira<\/strong><\/em><em>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s my comfort zone to have a lot of things on,\u201d Waititi said. \u201cThat chaos is where my best work comes from. Someone said to me, \u2018You need a break, man\u2019. Yeah, but I feel like I was on a break for 35 years. I\u2019m working now.
