There\u2019s been a lot of promotion around the show for some time, and we\u2019ve been very-much excited to see some of the actual story play out!<\/p>\n<p>Of course, there will be a lot of people curious about Jane Tennant, the new lead for the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> as played by Vanessa Lachey. Beyond that, though, one of the hot questions right now has to be connections to the rest of the\u00a0<em>NCIS\u00a0<\/em>universe. It\u2019s been a while since we\u2019ve seen any crossovers between the different iterations in the franchise, so is that something that is possible? It feels like the answer is \u201cyes,\u201d but don\u2019t expect anything right away.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in a new interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/1008162\/ncis-hawaii-season-1-details-vanessa-lachey-jane-tennant\/\">TV Insider<\/a>, show executive producer Christopher Silber (who worked previously on\u00a0<em>NCIS: New Orleans<\/em>) had the following to say about the ties to this show and some others that are out there:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cWe live in the same universe, but every one of them were spin-offs \u2026 We don\u2019t make any connection to the other shows.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Do we think that characters within the\u00a0<em>NCIS: Hawaii\u00a0<\/em>world likely know some other high-ranking officials? Sure. Remember that Gibbs visited the Pearl Harbor memorial back in the season 17 finale \u201cThe Arizona,\u201d and there are probably past cases everyone has collaborated on over time. Eventually, we could imagine that some references surface involving this show and the others in the franchise, but it\u2019s probably not a priority early on.<\/p>\n<p>One other thing to remember here is that even if producers want to do some sort of crossover between shows, that is really a CBS decision.
