Quite a lot of people, actually!<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, <strong>Sony Pictures Television<\/strong> revealed that not one, but TWO hosts would take on the role following the beloved host\u2019s death \u2014 but neither was the name <strong>LeVar Burton<\/strong> fans were hoping for. And it wasn\u2019t quite as it seemed\u2026<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, it was revealed that exec producer <strong>Mike Richards<\/strong> will assume the position of full-time host of the syndicated program starting with season 38, while <strong>Mayim Bialik<\/strong> will host the show\u2019s prime time and spinoff <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> \u2014 including <i>Jeopardy! National College Championship<\/i>, which is set to air on <strong>ABC<\/strong> next year.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Announcing Mayim Bialik and Mike Richards as our new hosts of Jeopardy! Well, not exactly. Mike is still THE host of Jeopardy. Mayim is the host of the spinoff series, which only air a few times a year. So if this was some way to ease the burn, not only is it misleading, it just straight up failed.<\/p>\n<p>Predictably, the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> sparked outrage among the many fans steadily rooting for Burton, who had been openly campaigning for the job for months. Sadly, Burton\u2019s week on <em>Jeopardy!<\/em> pulled the lowest ratings of any guest host \u2014 but, as many fans pointed out, that was largely because his episodes landed in the middle of the <strong>Tokyo Olympics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: <i>Sex And The City<\/i> Revival Cast Seen Filming FUNERAL!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some fans were so gutted they vowed to never watch <em>Jeopardy!<\/em> again. Maybe I\u2019m wrong, but that\u2019s how it seems! \u2026 Also: I still believe LeVar Burton was the best person for the job, and I will die on this hill.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To that last point, not everyone agreed, though. Some users expressed that while they had high hopes for LeVar, they didn\u2019t feel that he performed \u201cthe best\u201d out of all the candidates.<\/p>\n<p>Where does the majority lie?
