Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani says Gov. Andrew Cuomo will \u201cresurrect himself in some way\u201d because he\u2019s \u201csmarter and more talented\u201d than other disgraced pols.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndrew will resurrect himself in some way. He\u2019s a very, very tough guy, determined guy. He\u2019s a fighter.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019ll find some way to resurrect himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Giuliani also bashed Attorney General<\/a> Letitia James\u2019 independent probe of Cuomo\u2019s alleged rampant sexual harassment, claiming James wanted him out of Albany so she could run for governor, in a Wednesday interview with WABC radio.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat she did was so unethical. She should\u00a0be disbarred for doing that,\u201d President Trump\u2019s former lawyer said on \u201cThe Other Side of Midnight\u201d<\/a> with Frank Morano.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I was Tish James I would immedia<\/a>tely resign as attorney general\u2026 You can\u2019t tell me this was not a set up for her to become governor,\u201d Giuliani \u2014 who was recently disbarred himself for making false statements in connection with Trump\u2019s false claims of voter fraud \u2014 told the station.<\/p>\n

The two-term GOP mayor also said he was alarmed by the Justice Department\u2019s decision to suspend its investigation into COVID-19 nursing home deaths allegedly caused by Cuomo\u2019s\u00a0controversial admission policy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Democratic Party wanted to avoid at all costs \u2014 including fixing cases if they had to \u2014 investigating the nursing homes,\u201d Giuliani reportedly said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would bring\u00a0down not just Cuomo, but could bring down Murphy in New Jersey, it could bring down who I call Whitless in Michigan (Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. They all have the same problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

The interview came the same day Brooklyn Assemblywoman Latrice Walker, a member of the judiciary committee, threw cold water on continuing to pursue impeachment now that Cuomo has resigned. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis inquiry, this impeachment process has already cost the people of the State of New York millions of dollars. How much is it we are willing to spend, expend,\u201d the Democrat said on NY1\u2019s \u201cInside City Hall.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cPart of it could be about vengeance. But look, he\u2019s already resigned. What\u2019s the goal here?,\u201d Walker said to host Erroll Louis.<\/p>\n

If Cuomo is impeached, he would be unable to ever run for public office, something Giuliani claimed is not far-fetched.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
