A city Department of Transportation worker was shot with a BB gun in an app<\/a>arently random attack while on the job in Brooklyn, cops said Friday. <\/p>\n

The 41-year-old man was hit with a small pellet in the back while bending over working around 8:10 a.m. near East 19th Street and Avenue L in Midwood, according to cops. <\/p>\n

The man was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.<\/p>\n

Law-enforcement sources said the shooting appeared to be random.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
