At least not yet.<\/p>\n<p>With Friday\u2019s deadline to rescind offers, the Nets pulled the one to their second-year forward, making him an unrestricted free agent in a move first reported by The Athletic and confirmed by The Post. But Perry was still with the Nets and participated in Saturday afternoon\u2019s practice at Clark High School.<\/p>\n<p>The Nets did not make Perry available after practice. As for exactly what their plans are for the forward, assistant Jordan Ott \u2014 serving as summer league head coach \u2014 punted those questions up the ladder to his bosses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just want to leave that to Sean [Marks, GM] and Steve [Nash, coach],\u201d Ott told The Post. \u201cI\u2019ll say this: He is here, he\u2019s practicing. He\u2019s a Brooklyn Net. He\u2019s part of our summer league team. We coached him just like any other person on our team. We came here to get better. He got better [Saturday]. We all got better. We\u2019re going to continue to coach him every day. That\u2019s what we\u2019re all signed up to do. He\u2019s a Brooklyn Net right now, and we\u2019ll continue to coach him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Perry goes into Sunday\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> second on the Nets in rebounding (8.5), steals and blocks, and fourth in scoring (9.5 points). And though being invisible or going unnoticed is great for NFL offensive lineman, it\u2019s a decidedly bad sign for summer league players with NBA experience.<\/p>\n<p>Perry is now an unrestricted free agent. He could theoretically try to latch on with any other team, or eventually be signed straight to Brooklyn\u2019s G-League affiliate on Long Island.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, I\u2019m not sure on that one. I think we\u2019ll leave that to Sean\u2019s decision,\u201d said Ott, who has given reports to Marks since the GM left Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re all involved; coaches, front office,\u201d Ott said. \u201cEveryone has a pulse of what\u2019s going on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ott said the experience of coaching in the summer league \u2014 being the head coach and having three close games to start \u2014 will make him a better Brooklyn assistant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe all added responsibilities. And with that, your eyes are opened to what the head coach has to go through. So hopefully that makes me a better assistant in the future, just getting this couple week period as a head coach,\u201d Ott said. \u201cMistakes are going to h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en. It isn\u2019t perfect. It\u2019s easy to talk about after the fact. But the experience has been great. Grateful to the Nets for allowing me to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>The Nets announced a change in their vaccination policy at Barclays Center. Their first home preseason game is Oct. 8 against the Bucks in a rematch of the Eastern Conference semifinals.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not the only change Brooklyn is making.
