The new film’s story follows Haruka as he heads to the\u00a0new stage at the Sydney Game<\/a>s and competes among the best of the best to show his skills as he faces old rivals. Both parts will be directed and written by\u00a0Eisaku Kawanami<\/strong>\u00a0at Kyoto Animation with\u00a0Masahiro Yokotani\u00a0<\/strong>(all\u00a0Free!<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0series) helping with the script<\/a>. The cast from the entire franchise returns for the film.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0late\u00a0Futoshi Nishiya<\/strong>\u00a0(A Silent Voice<\/strong><\/em>) worked on the character designs with the character settings by\u00a0Kohei Okamura<\/strong>\u00a0(A Silent Voice<\/strong><\/em>), who is also acting as the animation director alongside\u00a0Miku Kadowaki\u00a0<\/strong>(A Silent Voice<\/strong><\/em>).\u00a0Shingo Kasai<\/strong>\u00a0returns from\u00a0Dive to the Future<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0as art director, alongside\u00a0Joji Unoguchi\u00a0<\/strong>as the 3D director from the entire franchise,\u00a0Yuka Yoneda<\/strong>\u00a0is the color designer,\u00a0Hiroshi Karata working on the accessory setting,\u00a0Kazuya Takao<\/strong>\u00a0as the cinematographer,\u00a0Yuji Shibata<\/strong>\u00a0as the 3D director,\u00a0Yota Tsuruoka<\/strong>\u00a0as the sound director, and\u00a0Tatsuya Kato<\/strong>\u00a0providing the music.<\/p>\n
