Find the full statement below.<\/p>\n<p>Born Enrique Chalar in 1959, Trafa formed Los Violadores in Buenos Aires in 1981. The anti-authoritarian band\u2014the name translates to \u201cThe Violators\u201d\u2014drew influences from the Sex Pistols, the Damned, and the Buzzcocks. One of the first bands to openly disparage the Argentinian dictatorship, they had to perform early gigs as \u201cLos Voladores\u201d to avoid censors. Early tracks like \u201cRepresi\u00f3n\u201d (from 1983 debut LP <em>Los Violadores<\/em>) and \u201cUno, Dos, Ultraviolento\u201d (from 1985\u2019s <em>Y ahora qu\u00e9 pasa, eh?<\/em>) would become foundational to Latin American punk rock.<\/p>\n<p>Trafa would form his second band Pilsen in 1992 after Los Violadores\u2019 first breakup, releasing albums in 1993 and 1994. He also released two solo albums: 2004\u2019s <em>El monopolio de las palabras<\/em> and 2015\u2019s <em>\u00daltimo hombre<\/em>. Los Violadores would reform and disband several times over the years, with Trafa the only constant member of the band\u2019s evolving lineup. The last Los Violadores studio album was 2009\u2019s <em>Rey o Reina<\/em>; they released a double live album in 2011 before separating for good.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"Container-ineSfH kZHRTY\"><\/div>\n<p>Over his four-decade career, Trafa released 22 albums between his solo and group projects.
