“#Archer, Fargo: FX Chief John Landgraf Optimistic About Additional Seasons<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Archer<\/i> and Fargo<\/i> fans should have hope for future seasons of both shows. John Landgraf, FX chief, says that he is optimistic that both shows will continue. Season four of FX\u2019s Fargo<\/em> aired late last year and Archer<\/em> will begin airing its 12th season on FXX on August 25th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Deadline<\/a> revealed that the death of actress Jessica Walter will have an impact on the latter show\u2019s future. New members have been added to the creative team, and they are working on finding a way for the animated series<\/a> to move forward without the \u201cirreplaceable\u201d actress.<\/p>\n

He said the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a very close-knit group so losing Jessica was a big loss but I think creatively, they are trying to figure out a way to proceed forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As for Fargo<\/i>, series creator Noah Hawley has expressed his own desire to work on another season of the series, but he has his focus on another series for FX \u2013 the Alien<\/em> series which will bring the creatures to earth in 2023.<\/p>\n

Landgraf said the following about Fargo<\/i> returning to FX, per Deadline<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s really up to Noah. I\u2019m optimistic that he\u2019ll want to do another. He\u2019s very focused on Alien<\/i> right now. We do continue to talk about it, and he expressed positive sentiment toward making another season, so that gives me optimism.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
