{"id":327240,"date":"2021-08-19T00:15:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-18T21:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/vienna-stock-exchange-will-list-crypto-etps-from-etc-group\/"},"modified":"2021-08-19T00:15:00","modified_gmt":"2021-08-18T21:15:00","slug":"vienna-stock-exchange-will-list-crypto-etps-from-etc-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/vienna-stock-exchange-will-list-crypto-etps-from-etc-group\/","title":{"rendered":"# Vienna Stock Exchange will list crypto ETPs from ETC Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong># Vienna Stock Exchange will list crypto ETPs from ETC Group <\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.cointelegraph.com\/images\/840_aHR0cHM6Ly9zMy5jb2ludGVsZWdyYXBoLmNvbS91cGxvYWRzLzIwMjEtMDgvZjZlOWZkYzUtZmQ2ZC00MjA0LTg4M2MtZjhlMDA2YzkwZjQ5LmpwZw==.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"post-content\" data-v-128018ef>London-based financial services firm ETC Group will list its entire portfolio of crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) offering exposure to Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH)\u00a0and Litecoin (LTC)\u00a0on Austria\u2019s national stock market.<\/p>\n<p>In a Wednesday announcement, the ETC Group <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20210818005043\/en\/World%E2%80%99s-Most-Traded-Crypto-ETPs-From-ETC-Group-to-List-on-the-Vienna-Stock-Exchange\">said<\/a> the Wiener B\u00f6rse, or Vienna Stock Exchange, would be listing three of its crypto exchange-traded products that are \u201c100% physically backed and central counterparty cleared.\u201d These include the firm\u2019s carbon-neutral Bitcoin\u00a0product, a Litecoin-based product and its Ether\u00a0ETP. <\/p>\n<p>The ETC Group has already made similar listings on stock exchanges in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Zurich and Frankfurt. The ETPs are aimed at allowing investors exposure to crypto with the regulatory protections afforded to traditional stocks. Previously stating that its crypto product was like trading Bitcoin \u201cthrough an ETP structure,\u201d the firm said its offerings are not the same as an exchange-traded fund, as they\u2019re single asset instruments.<\/p>\n<p>The Market Maker on the Vienna Stock Exchange will be Lang &amp; Schwarz, with the crypto products distributed by ETP provider HANetf. Despite the name, the ETC Group has no connection to the cryptocurrency Ethereum Classic.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Popular Bitcoin ETP set to debut in UK<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While firms including the ETC Group have been rolling crypto ETPs across Europe this year, exchange-traded funds in the United States are still in a type of regulatory purgatory as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has yet to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>rove any applications.
