Google moved this option a bit in 2019 when it rolled out Chrome 78, but it\u2019s still easy to find if you know where to look.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_note\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> This won\u2019t let you reopen windows and tabs opened in Chrome\u2019s Incognito Mode. Chrome forgets about those tabs as soon as you close them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wheres_the_%E2%80%9CReopen_Closed_Tab%E2%80%9D_Option_in_Chrome\"><\/span>Where\u2019s the \u201cReopen Closed Tab\u201d Option in Chrome?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To reopen a closed tab in Chrome after updating, right-click on an empty space in the tab bar and select \u201cReopen Closed Tab.\u201d\u00a0If you recently closed a window instead of a tab, you\u2019ll see a \u201cReopen Closed Window\u201d option here instead.<\/p>\n<p>This will open the most recently closed tab. If you recently closed a window, this will reopen the closed window instead.<\/p>\n<p>This keyboard shortcut acts the same as clicking \u201cReopen Closed Tab.\u201d Press the shortcut repeatedly to reopen closed tabs in the order they were closed.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Reopen_a_Specific_Closed_Tab\"><\/span>How to Reopen a Specific Closed Tab<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Chrome also offers a menu that lists all the recently closed windows and tabs it\u2019s keeping track of. To access it, click Chrome\u2019s menu and point to History.<\/p>\n<p>Under Recently Closed, you\u2019ll see a list of recently closed windows and tabs.
