\nCommon announced a new album called Beautiful Revolution Pt. 2<\/em> last week and is now doing press to build anticipation for the project.<\/p>\n

During a recent interview with Hot 97\u2019s Ebro Darden, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg, the seasoned MC\/actor talked about his infamous feud with Ice Cube who believed Common was dissing West Coast rapp<\/a>ers on the Resurrection<\/em> single \u201cI Used To Love H.E.R.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cube fired back with a jab on \u201cWestside Slaughterhouse\u201d from Mack 10\u2019s self-titled debut, and Common ultimately got at Cube with \u201cThe Bitch In Yoo.\u201d\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

One day, Common ran into Mack 10 while filming a Sprite commercial and Fat Joe stepped in to intervene, something Common appreciates to this day.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat brother kinda saved my life,\u201d he says. \u201cFat Joe saved my life. So, after the beef with Ice Cube and Mack 10, the beef we had, it got settled by Minister Farrakhan. You know Cube, my guy, but I had to go for mine. We doing this Sprite commercial. It\u2019s like a voltron commercial where they take an artist from each region.<\/p>\n

\u201cFat Joe was representing the East, Goodie Mob was representing the South, I was representing the Midwest and Mack 10 was representing the West Coast. Beef been squashed, everything\u2019s good.\u201d<\/p>\n
