\nChrissy Teigen<\/strong> is opening up about her continued grief.<\/p>\n

While preparing for the upcoming launch of her third cookbook, Cravings: All Together<\/em>, the 35-year-old admitted she\u2019s been struggling with processing the loss of her third child, Jack<\/strong>, who tragically passed away in a devastating pregnancy loss last fall.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, while sharing a sweet snapshot alongside her hubby John Legend<\/strong> at a favorite restaurant in New York City (Frank<\/strong> in East Village), the momma of two reflected:<\/p>\n

\u201cJust reminiscing about New York a lot lately, when things were simple, thinking about all the stuff I\u2019ve done and been through not just this year but in my life. I\u2019m slightly down lately. It kind of started when I was thinking of my book caption and typed out \u2018my third baby is here!!,\u2019 as in cookbook, then realized my third baby will never be here.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Admitting she was \u201cbasically a functioning alcoholic\u201d during her time in NYC \u2014 and until December when she decided to quit drinking\u00a0\u2014 the author continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cthen I realized i threw myself into the book to not think of the real, actual third baby. I don\u2019t really feel like I fully processed jack and now that I don\u2019t have the alcohol to numb it away, things are just\u2026there, waiting to be acknowledged. I guess what I\u2019m saying here is life is so f**king complicated.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
