“#Ex-NHL Hockey Star Jimmy Hayes Dead At 31
\n<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\nJimmy Hayes<\/strong>, a Boston-area native and former professional hockey player who spent time\u00a0with several NHL <\/strong>teams over the last few years, passed away unexpectedly on Monday. He was 31 years old.<\/p>\n

The cause of death was not immedia<\/a>tely known or announced publicly, but according to the\u00a0Boston Globe<\/em>, which cited local authorities and first responders in the city of Milton, Massachusetts, foul play \u201cwas not suspected.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hayes was pronounced dead at his home in the city of Milton. Over the weekend, his wife Kristen<\/strong> had shown off a family photo on\u00a0Instagram<\/strong> celebrating the birthday of the couple\u2019s 2-year-old son\u00a0Beau<\/strong>. In the IG photo, which you can see (below), Kristen is incredibly happ<\/a>y about Beau\u2019s birthday while also showing pictures of Jimmy with the boy:<\/p>\n
