\n A British woman was hit with a five-month jail sentence for spitting blood at two police officers \u2013 shouting, \u201cThere\u2019s your f\u2014- corona!\u201d\u2014 when they responded to her call about a domestic dispute, according to a report.<\/p>\n

A drunken Carly Lane, 31, called police to her home in Rugby, Warwickshire, on April 17 because she said her former partner attacked her after he moved in during the coronavirus lockdown, the UK\u2019s Metro reported.<\/p>\n

Officers Chloe Norris and Sabrina Manzella were administering first aid to the woman, who had a deep cut on the forehead, and asked her who would care for her two kids when she went to the hospital, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

Lane then stormed out of the room, slammed the door behind her and injured her finger. She accused the cops of laughing at her and yelled at them to \u201cget out of my f\u2014- house!\u201d<\/p>\n

She then assaulted Norris and Manzella.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe officers proceed to arrest her. She continues to be abusive and aggressive and is taken to the floor,\u201d prosecutor Tariq Shakoor said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe defendant then shouts at the officers, \u2018I swear, watch what I f\u2014- do!\u2019 and turns her head and spits saliva and blood towards the officers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOfficer Manzella is hit in the face as the defendant says, \u2018There\u2019s your f\u2014 corona!\u2019 and officer Norris can taste blood in her mouth,\u201d Shakoor added.<\/p>\n

Lane\u2019s lawyer David Everett said she had a bad day that led to her buying some vodka, Metro reported.<\/p>\n

Judge Andrew Lockhart blasted lane for her vile and dangerous act.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the front line of the fight against that virus are the emergency services interacting with the public. They deserve, and will have, the timely protection of these courts,\u201d Lockhart said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou had called those officers for help, and they were acting in the best interest of you and your children,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would have said this type of offense is not prevalent, but I am now dealing with my 10th or 11th accused who has spat at police officers since March. This type of conduct is wholly unacceptable.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
