So it\u2019s no surprise Kid Cudi is in shambles after his beloved dog Freshie passed away last week.<\/p>\n<p>According to a Twitter post from The Chosen One, Freshie died \u201cpeacefully at home, surrounded by the people that love him, his family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cudi wrote, \u201cI held his hand and whispered in his ear to let him know I was there while he slipped away. I told him was a special boy, my best friend, that he was perfect and that I loved him and I\u2019ll miss him so much. I felt his last breath.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"und\" dir=\"ltr\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jfso8zw6Rk\">pic.twitter.com\/jfso8zw6Rk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Chosen One (@KidCudi) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KidCudi\/status\/1430045289109331969?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 24, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>As Kid Cudi explained in the post, he got Freshie in 2010 to prepare for an acting role in <em>How To Make It In America.\u00a0<\/em>His character for the second season was a dog-walking, weed salesman, so he wanted to be \u201ccomfortable\u201d around dogs. But Cudi soon learned Freshie would have a profound effect on every area of his life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s been here for 11 years, and my life has been one hell of a roller coaster this whole time,\u201d he continued. \u201cFreshie was with me through it all every day. He loved me. He really did.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe came up and licked me if I was crying, he loved to lay in bed w\/ me, he was always by my side or close by. He was my guardian angel. Thinkin I have to take him out to pee. When I go to bed, I almost say \u2018c\u2019mon boy\u2019 to let him know he can get in bed with me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe would always wait to see if it was cool. He\u2019d walk up, wait for me to say come on and then hop up. My best fuckin\u2019 friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cudi ended his post with, \u201cI love you forever Mr. Freshly. Til we meet on the other side my beautiful special boy.
