Hall, and Logan Marshall-Green, quickly climbed into the streaming service\u2019s Top 10 list, and had everyone wondering when they would get more episodes\u2026 so what\u2019s the deal?<\/p>\n<p><em>The Defeated<\/em> follows American cop Max McLaughlin (Kitsch) as he attempts to set up a police force in post-WWII Berlin, unaware of his role as a pawn in the early stages of the Cold War. Their family reunion wasn\u2019t a pleasant one, as their confrontation ended with Max shooting his brother, who was later revealed to be alive, and asking for passage to Italy.<\/p>\n<p>On a h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ier note, Elsie (Nina Hoss) returned home to find her now-freed husband Leopold (Benjamin Sadler) waiting for her, and the infamous crime kingpin \u201cAngel Maker\u201d (Sebastian Koch) was finally arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Will Season 2 see the brothers reunite once more, or will their strenuous relationship keep them from seeing eye-to-eye?<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"When_will_Season_2_premiere\"><\/span><strong>When will Season 2 premiere?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Originally slated to begin filming in 2020, production on Season 2 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.looper.com\/561038\/the-defeated-season-2-release-date-cast-plot\/\">was delayed<\/a> due to the pandemic. Lena D\u00f6rrie\u2019s Trude and Anne Ratte-Polle\u2019s Marianne <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.looper.com\/561038\/the-defeated-season-2-release-date-cast-plot\/\">will not return<\/a> for the second season, as their characters [SPOILER ALERT!] did not last until the end of Season 1. No additional casting has been announced, leaving the door open for new characters to enter.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_happens_in_Season_2\"><\/span><strong>What happens in Season 2?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Titled <em>Shadowplay<\/em> abroad, show creator M\u00e5ns M\u00e5rlind stated that <em>The Defeated<\/em> was intended to be a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2019\/04\/taylor-kitsch-michael-c-hall-lead-cast-shadowplay-drama-series-tandem-bron-1202592309\/\">16-episode series told in two chapters<\/a>, meaning Season 2 will most likely wrap up the story with eight final episodes. M\u00e5rlind will most likely reprise his executive producer and directing duties for Season 2 alongside directing partner Bj\u00f6rn Stein. No word on the season\u2019s synopsis or additional casting yet.<\/p>\n<p>Rola Bauer, Jonas Bauer, Tim Halkin, Jim Gillespie, Aaron L.
