On the heels of the second\u00a0Macross Delta\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>movie, galactic idols Ranka Lee (Megumi Nakajima<\/strong>) and Sheryl Nome (May’n<\/strong>) are making their own much-anticipated return. Today, we’ve got more information on the duo’s upcoming concert, as well as the theme<\/a> song for the upcoming short film\u00a0Labyrinth of Time<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

SANKYO Presents Macross F GALAXY LIVE 2021 [Revenge]\u00a0<\/b>is scheduled to take place\u00a0November 9<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0November 10\u00a0<\/strong>at Makuhari Event Hall. The concert marks the first\u00a0Macross Frontier<\/strong><\/em>-specific concert since December 2010’s\u00a0Merry Christmas Without You<\/strong>\u00a0event, and the first time the two have performed together onstage since the franchise’s crossover concert in 2019.<\/p>\n

A new key visual by\u00a0Macross Frontier<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0character designer\u00a0Risa Ebata<\/strong>\u00a0depicts the pair in glorious idol outfits:<\/p>\n

On November 10<\/strong>, a CD single will be released for the short film’s theme, “The Labyrinth of Time,” by series<\/a> composer\u00a0Yoko Kanno<\/strong>. A second song (titled undecided), also performed by May’n and Nakajima and written by Kanno, will also be included. The single will be available as a standard release, as well as in a special “Labyrinth Preservation Disc” edition. This special edition will include the duo’s performance of “Lion” from Flying Dog’s 10th Anniversary -Inu Fes!- event, a music video for the 2018 song “Good Job!,” and other bonuses.<\/p>\n
