The new song seemed like the beginning of a fresh chapter for the longtime friends.<\/p>\n<p>But during Ye\u2019s third public listening party at Chicago\u2019s Solider Field on Thursday night (August 26), it became painfully clear Hov\u2019s verse on \u201cJail\u201d was replaced by one from current public enemy number one \u2014 DaBaby.\u00a0There was no explanation as to why other than pure provocation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">JAY-Z\u2019s verse on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/DONDA?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#DONDA<\/a> was replaced by DaBaby? \ud83d\udc40 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/LLpwjzk6ik\">pic.twitter.com\/LLpwjzk6ik<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 HipHopDX (@HipHopDX) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HipHopDX\/status\/1431105781840023554?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 27, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Kanye was <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arently aiming for shock value when he brought out DaBaby, who has been under fire for his homophobic commentary during Rolling Loud Miami last month, as well as controversial rock star Marilyn Manson, who has been accused of numerous sexual assaults.<\/p>\n<p>While some people were understandably confused on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a>, there were plenty of others who knew exactly what Kanye was doing. That\u2019s very corny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Par for the course, <em>Donda<\/em> didn\u2019t arrive on digital streaming platforms at midnight EST on Friday (August 27) as promised by Ye\u2019s manager.
