In this edition, we look at what you can expect from the Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels<\/i>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In 2019, <strong><i>Captain Marvel<\/i><\/strong> lit up the box office and had the best opening for a film directed by a woman. Now, a much-awaited sequel film is finally on the horizon, ready to ride the heels of its predecessor\u2019s stunning success. But the movie is also going to be a follow-up to the upcoming Disney+ series <em><strong>Ms. Marvel<\/strong><\/em>, too.<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>The Marvels<\/i><\/strong>, directed by <strong>Nia DaCosta<\/strong> (<i>Candyman<\/i>) and written by <strong>Megan McDonnell<\/strong> (<i>WandaVision<\/i>), will be the thirty-first movie in the MCU\u00a0and the eighth feature installment of Phase Four of the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s everything you need to know about the movie:<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Marvels_Release_Date_and_Where_to_Watch\"><\/span>The Marvels Release Date (and Where to Watch)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The movie was originally slated for a July 8, 2022, release, but will now be opening in theaters on <strong>November 11, 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There is no word yet on when it will be streaming. However, the movie will be available to stream on Disney+ someday following its theatrical release.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Marvels_Cast\"><\/span>The Marvels Cast<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The cast\u00a0includes some familiar faces, as well as a couple of newcomers to the franchise. Of course, we have <strong>Brie Larsen <\/strong>reprising her role as Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, a pilot gifted with superhuman strength and the ability to fly. Also from <em>Captain Marvel<\/em>, <strong>Samuel L. Jackson<\/strong> is returning as former SHIELD director Nick Fury.<\/p>\n<p>Newcomers for the sequel include\u00a0<em>Ms. Marvel <\/em>star\u00a0<strong>Iman Vellani<\/strong>, as Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, a teenager with the ability to shape-shift. Also, <strong>Teyonah Parris<\/strong> reprises her <i>WandaVision <\/i>role as S.W.O.R.D agent Monica Rambeau, plus<strong>\u00a0Zawe Ashton<\/strong> (<i>Velvet Buzzsaw<\/i>) and <strong>Park Seo-joon<\/strong> (<i>Parasite<\/i>).<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Plot\"><\/span>The Plot<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you liked <i>Captain Marvel<\/i>, chances are you\u2019ll be a fan of the sequel, too. The former sees an intergalactic conflict that concerns two civilizations, the Kree and the Skrulls. Captain Marvel (Larsen) is the only one equipped to get in the middle and save the universe.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of <i>WandaVision<\/i>, a post-credit scene teases what to expect from any future films concerning Captain Marvel. A Skrull agent tells Monica Rambeau, daughter of <em>Captain Marvel <\/em>character Maria Rambeau, that an old friend wants to see her in space. We wonder who <i>that<\/i> could be.<\/p>\n<p>Although there isn\u2019t yet much <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> on the plot of <i>The Marvels<\/i>, it stands to reason that it will concern the relationship between Carol and Monica, as well as another awesome intergalactic battle.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Marvels_Trailer\"><\/span>The Marvels Trailer?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Unfortunately, there is no trailer just yet. But we\u2019ll add one just as soon as it premieres!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tough_Themes\"><\/span>Tough Themes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Although there isn\u2019t a lot of information regarding what <i>The Marvels <\/i>is about yet, one thing is for sure: it\u2019s going to be a pretty serious film, and some of its <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a>s might really hit home for viewers. <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/film\/features\/nia-dacosta-horror-classic-candyman-1235044045\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">In an interview with <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/film\/features\/nia-dacosta-horror-classic-candyman-1235044045\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><i>Variety<\/i><\/a>, director Nia DaCosta revealed:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI can say [the movie is] a very different beast.
