Asobu will host its second annual two-hour independent game<\/a>s showcase on September 1 at 21:00 JST<\/a>, the company announced. You will be able to watch it on YouTube<\/a> and Twitch<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n
The showcase will feature introductions to over 60 titles, focusing on upcoming or recently-available games from Japanese indie developers, as well as select overseas-developed games coming to Japan. It will also feature titles from Asobu sponsors such as PlayStation, [email\u00a0protected], Kodansha, and Kowloon Nights.<\/p>\n
\u201cGetting the word out about your indie game is always a challenge, for all developers, anywhere and anytime,\u201d said Asobu co-founder and community manager Anne Ferrero in a press release. \u201cBut especially for Japanese indies, who don\u2019t have access to as many opportunities even in the best of times, and especially now with the ongoing pandemic, we hope the asobu showcase can help.
