In Windows 11, it\u2019s easy to quickly check the battery life of some Bluetooth devices like mice or keyboards in Settings. It doesn\u2019t work with every peripheral, but when it works, it\u2019s handy. Here\u2019s how to check.<\/p>\n

First, open Windows Settings by pressing Windows+i on your keyboard. Or you can right-click Start and select \u201cSettings\u201d from the menu that pops up.<\/p>\n

In Settings, click \u201cBluetooth & Devices\u201d in the sidebar.<\/p>\n

In Bluetooth & Devices settings, look just under the header, and you\u2019ll see one or several boxes representing connected devices. If your device supports showing battery life in settings, you\u2019ll see it listed just under the device\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

For example, you might see a percentage of remaining battery life (like \u201c59%\u201d) and a partially full battery gauge icon.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t see a battery gauge there, it\u2019s possible you have an older device that doesn\u2019t support this feature.
